Fred Guy Moving & Storage Ltd., complies fully with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (P.I.P.D.A.) implemented January 1, 2001.

We respect our shipper's right to privacy and take care to ensure all personal information provided to us is handled and stored in a confidential manner.

In order to effectively carry out your move, Fred Guy Moving & Storage Ltd. needs to obtain certain personal information when preparing moving proposals, performing relocations and in the event of loss or damage, to arrange for repairs/settlements of claims.

As Agent for Atlas Van lines (Canada) Ltd., all long distance moves are centrally registered and dispatched at Atlas' Head office in Oakville, Ontario. Only the personal information necessary to carry out the relocation including scheduling, payment of charges, and claims settlement will be shared with them.

Fred Guy Moving & Storage Ltd., will use personal information for services directly related to your move which are contracted out to a third party (i.e. appliance service/car hauling). All third party service providers are only given information that is needed for them to complete the service.  We also use information as needed should you wish to participate in any of our "value added" Loyalty Programs such as Aeroplan, and for follow -up contacts.

Our web-site collects no personal information other than when an individual elects to use our "on-line estimating service". If you elect to use that service, we will assume your implied consent to make that information available for purposes listed within our Privacy Policy.
